Interactive concierge solution

The Challenge

To provide guests with concierge tools and information at their fingertips, such as train times, flight schedules, directions and much more, freeing up time for staff to focus more on guests’ individual needs.

The Solution

Collaborating with IntercityHotel, we tailored the TRIAX® In Touch online concierge platform to their exact requirements, and installed it on touchscreen kiosks in the hotel.

The Result

A successful implementation on a tight schedule. With a user-friendly interface and flexible configuration options, IntercityHotel is now looking to expand the solution to more of their hotels.

The Challenge

IntercityHotel were seeking a technological solution for their new hotel in Braunschweig, that had to go further in focussing on guests’ individual needs and providing them with useful information.

Word from the front desks was that far too much time was being taken up by staff answering everyday
queries, taking away opportunities to dedicate themselves to their guests’ more specific needs.

The Solution

“We trusted TRIAX,” says Philipp Schülert, IntercityHotel’s Product Marketing Manager. “Our cooperation goes back years, and we knew they had the necessary hospitality experience.”

Thus began a closely collaborative process configuring apps, finalising the interface and customising the solution to Intercity’s exact needs. Launching on time despite a tight schedule, hotels in Duisburg and Celle immediately followed suit.

The Results

IntercityHotel now have an online concierge kiosk solution that’s flexible and easy to configure, catering precisely to guests’ needs. Everyday queries are met at kiosks rather than the front desks, and additional hotel services can be easily promoted.

“We’re so satisfied with the result, we’re now looking to expand into more of our hotels,” says Schülert.
